World War II Bomb Found Untapped in English Harbor

A group of workers working in an English harbor found an unexploded German World War II bomb. The device contained 290 pounds of explosives.

Fortunately, authorities were able to tow it carefully out of the harbor and take it to open water where it was detonated.

A dredger found the bomb at the bottom of Portsmouth Harbor this Wednesday morning. The port is in the process of a long and expensive upgrade. And while the dredger dug the mud of the port, the bomb was trapped in his shovel.
